Franny Jones Assistant Director Bachelors Degree in Child Development from The University of Alabama. Experience includes one year at Christ Episcopal Preschool and four years of teaching at Rise. She has been an administrative assistant since 2002.
Joylyn Boggs Service Coordinator Bachelors Degree in Communicative Disorders and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education both from The University of Alabama. Experience includes 6 years of teaching at the RISE School of Austin in Austin, TX and one and a half years of teaching at Graham Elementary in Talladega, AL. She has been the Service Coordinator since January of 2012.
Dawn Sandel Music Therapist Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy from The University of Dayton in Ohio. Earned Board Certification in January of 2005 following a seven month internship at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, FL. Provides music therapy daily to all students. Has worked at Rise since 2005 and is pursuing a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education at UAB.
Deanne Barnett Office Associate Sr 20 years experience in office administrative duties including three years with University Medical Center Pediatrics. Worked for five years with Early Intervention before joining Rise in 2007.
Kim Burke Registered Nurse Kim has an Associate Degree in Nursing from Shelton State Community College. She has 17 years experience including Emergency and Post Anesthesia Care Unit. She is a Certified Trainer in Adult/Child/Infant CPR and First Aid with American Red Cross. She joined RISE in 2007.
